About the Role
Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a Sales Manager Groups and Catering to implement sales strategies, analyze market information, and achieve property objectives. The role focuses on corporate, group/catering, and MICE accounts, emphasizing proactive solicitation and account saturation to meet revenue goals. It involves understanding the market, using negotiation and creative selling skills, developing stakeholder relationships, managing sales efforts, and ensuring the team builds long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Implement sales strategies to achieve property’s objectives whilst consistently analysing market information
- Targets corporate, group/catering and MICE accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
- Understand the overall market - competitors, economic trends, supply and demand etc
- Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Manages the property’s reactive and proactive sale efforts
- Ensure your team is focused on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that ensure travelers have everything they need
- Be an approachable and confident leader by providing comfort and support to the team
Requirements
- 2 Years + Experience in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
