About the Role
Northrop Grumman's Corporate sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Change Management Practitioner to join their Change Management team. This role is responsible for developing and executing change management plans to achieve strategic goals while minimizing disruption and maximizing employee adoption.
Responsibilities
- Support medium to large change management efforts with people, process, and technology implications.
- Apply PROSCI processes and tools to develop and implement effective change management strategies and plans.
- Integrate change management activities into project plans, providing subject matter expertise, coaching, and guidance.
- Conduct change management assessments, including impact analysis, change readiness, and stakeholder identification.
- Develop plans and countermeasures for risk mitigation and managing anticipated resistance to change.
- Partner with stakeholders to coordinate efforts and achieve objectives.
- Identify communication and training needs and develop plans with key partners.
- Define success metrics, monitor progress, and recommend enhancements for the change management portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in change management, organization effectiveness, digital transformation consulting, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Master’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in change management, organization effectiveness, digital transformation consulting, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Prior experience supporting medium to large change management efforts at a large company.
- Practical experience in a broad range of organizational design and change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong understanding of how people work through the change process with deep implementation experience.
- Practical experience managing projects and serving as the change management subject matter expert on project teams.
- Project Management experience.
- Ability to collaborate, lead, and build rapport across all organizational levels, including C-level executives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
