About the Role
As owner of the Logistics pillar within Design Operations, you're accountable for maximizing the bandwidth of the Design Studio team. You will diagnose problems, design systems, build tools, and measure their effectiveness to improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and decrease meeting overload.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize operational inefficiencies across the Design Studio.
- Define and build tools, automations, and workflows to reduce manual coordination.
- Redesign operational processes including reviews, planning cadences, and information flows.
- Measure system effectiveness, including usable time, meeting load, and adoption.
- Develop scalable solutions for recurring operational requests.
- Own scheduling, budget, vendor, and logistics programs, aiming to reduce manual effort.
- Partner with other Design Program Managers on the Logistics pod.
Requirements
- 5+ years in operations, program management, or business operations, with a track record of building systems and tools.
- Experience in a Design, Product, or Creative organization is a plus.
- EA or Chief of Staff backgrounds are welcome if experience extends beyond pure execution.
- Demonstrated ability to build tools, workflows, or automations that replaced manual work.
- Product-management instincts applied to operations: diagnose root cause, prototype, ship, measure, iterate.
- Ability to independently own an outcome at L4/L5 scope.
- Comfort with AI and no-code tooling (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Figma) for prototyping and shipping internal tools without engineering support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Judgment to handle sensitive leadership and operational information with discretion.
