About the Role

As the site-based leader at Zavala Elementary School, the Program Manager will integrate CIS programming with school-wide activities to empower students, engage parents, and help every student reach their full potential. This role involves providing clinical services, managing CIS activities, and supporting academic and non-academic barriers to student success.

Responsibilities

Conduct needs assessments to inform program design and resource identification.
Maintain positive relationships with campus personnel and establish student referral processes.
Implement data management systems for program evaluation and administrative efficiency.
Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training for team members.
Develop professional development plans for team members.
Provide ongoing supervision and conduct evaluations for team members.
Communicate agency and school policies, promoting agency culture.
Provide individual counseling, facilitate groups, and manage crises.
Conduct outreach to parents and develop parental involvement.
Perform case management and participate in the CIS team approach.
Represent CIS at school and community meetings and events.
Organize and coordinate school and community events.
Host "open houses" and communicate program activities.
Perform other activities and duties as directed by leadership.

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field.
Demonstrated English/Spanish speaking skills, highly preferred.
Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals.
Experience with group counseling and supportive guidance.
Case management experience.
Experience working with appropriate school-age youth and vulnerable populations.
Experience working with parents/guardians and families.
Experience providing individual supportive guidance and case management services.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships.
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on strength-based leadership.
Current CPR Certification.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Access to reliable transportation.
