About the Role
Clean Harbors is seeking Chemical Handlers (Insite Technicians) to join our safety-conscious team in San Francisco, CA. This entry-level role offers training and support for career advancement, with safety as the top priority.
Responsibilities
- Perform waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
- Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
- Package and label waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Participate in spill response on customer’s site as needed.
- Operate forklifts.
- Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
- Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
