About the Role
We are seeking a Product Technology professional to manage and improve the mass production of Renesas products. This role is crucial for achieving our goal of becoming a top 3 global semiconductor company in embedded solutions by 2030, with a target of over 2 trillion yen in sales. You will collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure superior quality, cost, and production efficiency for our MCU and SoC products.
Responsibilities
- Handle technical challenges in production plan execution, including bottleneck countermeasures, porting, and outsourcing.
- Manage the mass production of new products, ensuring a smooth transition from development to stable mass production.
- Secure and maximize profits through yield improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction activities.
- Ensure and improve quality by optimizing quality standards and pursuing zero defects.
- Respond to mass production issues, including equipment failures, customer complaints, and supplier problems.
- Drive various projects, such as the reorganization of domestic back-end production sites and the transfer of legacy products to OSAT.
Requirements
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (engineering, electronics, science fields are a plus).
- Over 3 years of experience in inter-departmental coordination, with external stakeholder coordination experience being a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Office tools (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Native Japanese language skills.
- Business trips may be required.

- Basic English communication (email correspondence).
- Excel VBA programming (preferred).
- BI tools such as Power BI (preferred).
