About the Role
We are seeking individuals to manage and improve the mass production of Renesas products. This role involves collaborating with design, development, and manufacturing teams to enhance quality, cost, and production efficiency for new and existing products.
Responsibilities
- Handle technical challenges in production plan execution, including bottleneck countermeasures, porting, and outsourcing.
- Manage the transition of new products to mass production and ensure stable production.
- Secure and maximize profits through yield improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction activities.
- Ensure and improve quality by optimizing quality standards and pursuing zero defects.
- Respond to mass production issues, including equipment failures, customer complaints, and supplier problems.
- Promote various projects, such as the reorganization of domestic back-end facilities and the transfer of legacy products to OSAT.
Requirements
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (engineering, electronics, science fields are a plus).
- Over 3 years of experience in inter-departmental coordination, with external stakeholder coordination experience being a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Office tools (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Native Japanese language skills.
Skills
- Intermediate level English proficiency (able to communicate in meetings and emails).
- Experience with semiconductor-related work (preferred).
- Programming skills such as Excel VBA (preferred).
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI (preferred).
