About the Role
GPJ is seeking an Experience Strategist to craft and execute strategies for diverse projects, focusing on understanding attendee needs and inspiring action. This role is integral to both client and agency teams, building trusted advisor relationships and developing comprehensive strategies across physical, digital, social, and mobile elements.
Responsibilities
- Craft and execute strategies for proprietary events, trade show activations, road shows, and seller enablement.
- Comprehend attendee needs (in-person or online) and devise solutions to address challenges.
- Build and maintain 'Trusted Advisor' relationships with creative, account, and client teams.
- Develop comprehensive experience strategies encompassing physical, digital, social, and mobile elements.
- Create reusable templates for strategy best practices (research, planning, account planning, strategy, analytics).
- Craft clear and compelling creative briefs to inspire internal partners.
- Participate in ideation sessions for brainstorming and concept development.
- Proactively explore new experience strategies, technology-enabled engagements, and industry best practices.
- Engage in research and planning for experiential marketing solutions (workshops, interviews, research, auditing).
- Assist with auditing and analysis of events.
- Lead client conversations and presentations.
- Utilize strong 'verbal-side' creative expertise, including writing, presentation, and facilitation development.
- Appreciate 2D and 3D design elements.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Graduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or writing preferred.
- 3 to 5 years client/agency experience in a related role.
- B2B experience.
- Technology experience.
- Experience in experiential marketing, strategy, planning, marketing, digital marketing and/or advertising, content, writing, copywriting is preferred.
- Experience in digital, social and mobile technologies, strategies and tactics.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Windows environment (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Proficient in other digital communications technologies (Salesforce, Chatter, Lync, Webex, etc.).
- Proficient in Apple hardware and software.
- Knowledge of and experience in using research tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of best practices regarding analytics and marketing measurement.
