About the Role
Oscar Stone is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator Team Lead to own content creation and grow the brand across social media and digital platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop engaging video content, understand social media trends, and manage content from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead content planning and creation for Oscar Stone.
- Develop creative ideas for videos, reels, photos, promotions, and campaigns.
- Film and edit high-quality short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create engaging jewelry-focused content, including new arrivals, custom pieces, luxury items, education, behind-the-scenes, customer experiences, promotions, store activities, and trending concepts.
- Take professional photos and videos of jewelry and store activities.
- Edit videos with strong pacing, transitions, captions, music, and graphics to increase engagement.
- Stay updated on social media trends, sounds, formats, and strategies.
- Develop a consistent visual style and brand voice.
- Create monthly and weekly content plans and calendars.
- Collaborate with management, sales, and marketing to align content with business priorities.
- Coordinate content shoots at various Oscar Stone locations.
- Direct and guide employees participating in videos.
- Review social media performance and identify engagement drivers.
- Recommend improvements for content, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Help build Oscar Stone's online presence and reach new customers.
- Organize and maintain digital content files.
- Ensure all content professionally represents the Oscar Stone brand.
- Lead or coordinate other content team members and delegate tasks.
- Bring new ideas and creative concepts to management.
- Prioritize content based on company goals and promotions.
- Coordinate shoots and content assignments.
- Help train and guide other content team members.
- Hold team members accountable for content responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities for new campaigns and social media initiatives.
- Track content performance and make recommendations based on results.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating social media content, preferably for a retail, fashion, jewelry, luxury, or lifestyle brand.
- Strong video filming and editing skills.
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Strong photography and visual content skills.
- Ability to develop original content ideas independently.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Understanding of social media trends and engaging content.
- Strong creative eye for lighting, framing, composition, and presentation.
- Ability to tell a story through video.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Leadership skills and ability to guide a content team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous video and social media work.
- Experience managing or leading a creative/content team.
- Experience working with jewelry, fashion, luxury retail, e-commerce, or similar industries.
- Experience creating content that has generated strong engagement or growth.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools.
