About the Role
We are hiring a General Manager to manage one of our largest wellness and fitness facilities in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will help build our premier location into our portfolio's most successful health club. You will manage a team that includes membership, personal training, and wellness departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, manage, and build a successful, results-driven team
- Develop core skill sets to ensure the success of each team member and the company
- Performance and growth management of each team member and department including PT, Wellness, Group X and all sales associates
- Develop and execute an action plan through business strategies for each month for team members and club
- Yearly budgeting
- Sales Quota, meet and surpass all KPI
- Manage and conduct outreach through GymSales
- Manage all KPI reporting
- Team member operations management. Including time and labor management
- Disciplinary action with the oversight of the Director and Operations manager.
- Facilities oversight and execution. Clean clubs sell memberships!
- Implement and drive a positive, team-focused company culture
- Follow and drive company policies
- Support the community by building partnerships
Requirements
- Management experience leading a similar team with the ability to mentor, direct and develop team members
- Sales experience with professional examples of success
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Experience leading sales and personal training teams
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- A quick learner with the ability to apply written and oral instruction
- Skilled in operation management
- The ability to build rapport and close sales
- Preferably 2+ years of General Manager and Personal Training Management experience
- Management experience required.
- A CPR/AED certification
- A high school diploma or GED
- Preferably Personal Trainer certification

- Passionate, Intelligent, and Knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
- Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft suite, and an understanding of KPI and CRM reporting tools.
