About the Role
Atoms is building Physical AI robots for industries like food, mining, and transport to increase efficiency and productivity. This role is crucial for managing the employee lifecycle and modernizing HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the employee lifecycle from pre-onboarding through offboarding.
- Lead a People Operations Center of Excellence for process design, governance, compliance, and communications.
- Lead a shared services team delivering high-volume employee support against SLA and CSAT targets.
- Design, improve, and govern critical processes including I-9, background checks, benefits, and workforce compliance.
- Partner with Payroll during its integration into the People organization.
- Deepen HRIS capabilities, particularly in Workday, and build automation for the employee lifecycle.
- Redesign processes to support company growth and establish an operating rhythm based on metrics and efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of People Operations experience, including leadership of core People Operations and a shared services or HR operations delivery team.
- Experience operating in a complex organization supporting frontline, corporate, and executive populations across multiple locations, entities, or countries.
- Experience in scaled, mature operations within a large organization and in scrappy, high-growth environments.
- Depth in HRIS (Workday preferred), automation, and building efficient, metrics-driven operations.
- Experience leading offshore or shared services delivery teams.
- Comfortable staying hands-on while leading and developing a team.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
