About the Role

PAE is seeking a motivated and inquisitive Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. Our internship program provides hands-on experience in sustainable engineering design, offering a 10 to 12 week paid program to learn about the building design industry.

Responsibilities

Perform Electrical Load Calculations/Block Loads
Complete EZ Power Crash Course
Develop Schematic Design Narratives
Conduct NEC Review
Research Renewable Energies (PV, Wind, Fuel Cell technologies)
Layout, design, and calculate PV Systems
Explore Emerging Technologies (BIPV, level III car charge, CIGS PV, etc.)
Utilize CAD and Revit
Understand general project timelines/overviews
Participate in Site Visits/Site Observation Reports
Review/prepare cost estimates
Engage in M/E coordination schedules

Requirements

3rd year undergraduate student preferred
Desire to work in the Building Design industry
Passionate about sustainable design solutions
