About the Role
The Store Manager will ensure the store is running efficiently, drive sales and performance, and continually create engaging client experiences and long-term relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and guide their team, create a positive work environment, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Hire, supervise, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage and monitor schedules to maximize performance and profitability.
- Train team on products and brand knowledge.
- Drive sales while creating a dynamic environment with excellent customer service.
- Support team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor and optimize Key Performance Indicators of the store and team (Conversion rate, Units Per Transaction, Average Transaction Value, etc.).
- Provide daily reports to the Retail Director and HQ.
- Communicate and provide feedback to the Merchandising team regarding customer knowledge.
- Identify business opportunities and potential challenges to initiate changes and improve the business.
- Source new clients (stylists, agents, prospects).
- Foster long-term relationships with existing clients; send thank you cards, follow-ups, and host one-to-one experiences.
- Act as the ambassador of the stylist program for your store.
- Submit in-store events proposals to the marketing team monthly.
- Offer a unique customer experience according to AMI values: being friendly, smiling, and always in a good mood.
- Understand customer needs and propose a relevant selection of products while encouraging cross-selling.
- Drive the team to fully embrace a customer loyalty culture of building strong and long-term relationships with clients.
- Introduce new customers to the brand.
- Participate in the reception of merchandise and ensure supply needs.
- Ensure the store is well maintained: presentation of products, cleanliness, maintenance of the premises.
- Follow-up & manage inventory (rotating inventories, management of cash register and stock levels and stock errors, etc.).
- Actively participate in the Visual Merchandising of the store, propose options during rotations.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in retail management.
- Experience in luxury sales and/or designer clothing.
- Familiar with sales techniques.
- Smiling, dynamic, involved, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a strong sense of team leadership to deliver results beyond expectations.
- Mastering customer service skills and demonstrating ability to foster a customer-service spirit.
- Strong interest and understanding of fashion, a strong familiarity with the luxury market and its trends.
- A second language is preferred.
