About the Role

SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed to ensure facilities are clean.
  • Walk garage daily to identify and correct maintenance issues.
  • Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, and other facility areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles in the garage, booth, and office.
  • Paint facility areas as directed to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs.
  • Apply absorbent to oil spills.
  • Submit requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Check safety items, such as gate arms, for proper function and security.
  • Verify proper operation, ticket supply, and time accuracy of ticket spitters and gates.
  • Provide ticket and record gate counts to the Manager.
  • Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
  • Complete a garage/lot sweep sheet.
  • Operate sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment for maintenance and repairs.
  • Remove snow from ramps and designated areas using appropriate equipment.
  • Report any observed violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
  • Practice customer service standards to ensure positive customer interactions.
  • Assist customers within the facility or as directed.
  • Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
  • Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the operation and assist with other duties as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the required uniform.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • May require facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience or skills training.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to speak clearly, listen, and respond effectively to questions.
  • Ability to write clearly and interpret written information.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and respond to service requests.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and handle unexpected events.
  • Ability to exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
  • Ability to react well under pressure.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.
  • Ability to respond to common customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers, and communicate with customers and employees.
  • Frequently required to sit, reach, stand, or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, turn, stretch, and bend.
  • Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
  • Must be able to move in a relatively quick manner.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work with dust, chemicals, and other potential irritants.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
