About the Role
At Schroeder Moving, you're more than just a driver - you're a leader, problem-solver, and key part of a high-energy team that gets the job done right. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and providing a positive experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL trucks
- Load, unload, protect, and transport furniture and household items
- Assist with residential and commercial moves
- Lead or support moving crews on job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during all moves and deliveries
Requirements
- Valid CDL license with clean driving record
- Moving, delivery, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Participate in a random drug testing program
