About the Role

The Analyst, Information Security Risk Reporting works with the Senior Lead, Cyber Risk Reporting to collect and gather data from stakeholders, input data into various forms and spreadsheets, construct a database/repository, and feed this data into visualization tools and dashboards. This role may also provide inputs to board metrics and other compulsory reporting.

Responsibilities

Define and gather data for meaningful cybersecurity metrics with Cyber and IT teams.
Map cybersecurity metrics to adopted risk frameworks.
Design operational dashboards for Cyber teams to prioritize work based on risk and urgency.
Design executive-level dashboards to aid in risk-based investment decisions.
Ensure data and visualizations are accurate, timely, and meaningful to the cyber program.
Automate data collection, validation, and preparation where possible.
Automate dashboard updates where possible, or manually update on a schedule.
Summarize data in executive reports with internal teams.
Maintain a reporting schedule for timely delivery to high-profile stakeholders.
Create documentation to support dashboard maintenance and upkeep.
Create a templated intake and interview process for stakeholder collaboration on dashboards.

Requirements

Data analysis skills including data validation, data preparation, and data cleansing.
Ability to manage time effectively to meet critical deadlines.
Strong understanding of cyber security concepts, domains, and risks.
Strong writing and verbal skills.
Experience working in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI etc.
Basic knowledge of information theory.
Experience with creating and automating Power BI dashboards.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels from technical staff to company leadership.
Experience presenting technical information in visualizations to a non-technical audience.
Ability to work across groups and influence change.
Stakeholder management experience including interviewing stakeholders, determining meaningful metrics, and incorporating feedback.
Fluency in Data Management life cycle (collection, cleaning, storage, analysis, reporting).
Progressive cyber security education.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO or COBIT.

Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $70,000.
