About the Role

Mixpanel's website is the primary touchpoint for prospects, serving as a major pipeline driver. This role involves designing and building the website in Framer, treating it as a dynamic product surface. The Interactive Web Designer will report to the Brand Design Leader, collaborating with the Staff Interactive Designer and Website Manager, and cross-functionally with Marketing to translate strategy into shipped web experiences. The work directly influences how prospects perceive, trust, and convert on Mixpanel, impacting product storytelling and conversion path optimization. This is a hands-on role requiring proficiency in both Framer and Figma, with Webflow experience being transferable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build pages and components directly in Framer.
  • Incorporate interaction, motion, and detail into web experiences, including micro-interactions, transitions, and scroll behavior.
  • Build and maintain landing pages for campaigns, launches, and regional/ABM needs.
  • Strengthen the web design system by contributing to and maintaining a component library.
  • Build clean, flexible, and reusable components for the system.
  • Identify system gaps and help build new patterns.
  • Ensure responsive behavior, accessibility, and performance are integral to the design and build process.
  • Partner closely with the Staff Interactive Designer on craft direction, interaction/motion decisions, and system quality.
  • Coordinate closely with the Website Manager on prioritization and publishing cadence.
  • Take ownership of pages and projects end-to-end while aligning with the broader web design direction.
  • Contribute ideas to shape how the website is built.
  • Collaborate with Brand Design, Copy, and Campaign/PMM stakeholders to create shipped web experiences.
  • Translate brand and campaign direction into interactive, on-brand web pages.
  • Participate in critiques, giving and receiving feedback within a high-craft team.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and building for the web, with hands-on production in Framer required.
  • Webflow experience is acceptable.
  • Experience working with CMS-driven content in Framer or Webflow.
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, and composition applied to web and interactive contexts.
  • A portfolio showcasing shipped, live web work.
  • Comfort with motion and interaction design, considering page behavior.
  • A builder mindset, enjoying the build phase.
  • Ability to think in systems and components, identifying reusability.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean design system with good naming conventions and organized files.
  • Curiosity about new web design tools and techniques.
  • Ability to partner with Brand, Content, Marketing, and Product stakeholders.
