About the Role
As an intern on Decagon’s Engineering team, you’ll be part of a pioneering group shaping the future of intelligent agents. You’ll contribute directly to production-ready initiatives that address real team needs, gaining hands-on experience and leaving your mark on meaningful, high-visibility work.
Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to production-ready initiatives that address real team needs.
- Gain hands-on experience and leave your mark on meaningful, high-visibility work.
- Build on our industry-leading AI agent platform.
- Collaborate directly with customers to devise long-term, scalable solutions.
- Build the runtime and model orchestration layer that powers Decagon’s agents in production.
- Create the platform that customers use to build, maintain, and improve their AI agents.
- Transform complex engineering work into intuitive self-serve products.
- Build and operate the foundations that power Decagon: networking, data, ML serving, developer platform, and real-time voice.
- Partner closely with product, data, and ML to deliver high-scale, low-latency systems with clear SLOs and great developer ergonomics.
Requirements
- Graduating by summer 2028 with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Previous software engineering internship experience.
- Ability to write amazing code, fast.
- Experience using AI coding agents as part of development.
- Excited to thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously learn, and sharpen skills.
