About the Role
Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Coordinator in San Francisco, CA. This role involves safeguarding clients, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and supporting a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and professional response to security concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and government facility occupants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government offices, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant information during shift transitions, and maintain a professional presence.
Requirements
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
