About the Role

Kyndryl Consult is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management Consultant to help drive exceptional customer IT outcomes, guide clients in digitally transforming their business, reduce risk, deliver operational excellence, and achieve their digital transformation value while solving mission-critical challenges. Experienced consultants participate and lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex consulting engagements and are accountable for creating and positioning value on Kyndryl’s largest accounts and opportunities. You will build senior-level relationships and drive value-based outcomes, with opportunities to lead small teams of practitioners on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or manage OCM activities on high-complexity, transformational, or program-wide change.
  • Function effectively in a highly matrixed organization and synthesize direction from multiple sources.
  • Work directly with sponsors/business owners of the change to understand goals and translate them into organizational impacts.
  • Lead or assist in managing other OCM resources within the same work stream.
  • Contribute to maturing the OCM discipline through observation and suggestions for process or tool improvements.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with change adoption.
  • Assess audience readiness for change, identify people-side risks and anticipated resistance, and present findings.
  • Develop an actionable change management strategy based on situational awareness.
  • Develop/manage communication and training plans utilizing various channels tailored to specific audiences.
  • Oversee deliverables against the communication plan, crafting or coordinating messages to prepare and motivate users for change adoption.
  • Oversee development of training materials or coordinate with training resources to ensure users have the necessary knowledge and ability to adopt changes; deliver training as needed.
  • Identify resistance and/or performance gaps, and develop and implement responsive actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience leading OCM.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting an organizational change management effort.
  • Solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
  • Ability to interact with leadership and staff at all levels; strong personal presence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.
