About the Role
Design world-class Salesforce applications for evolving CRM requirements, developing code-based solutions within the Salesforce platform and delivering scalable, high-performance visual analytics using Tableau and Salesforce data.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform
- Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce extending Salesforce capabilities
- Assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development
- Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
- Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal proprietary and third-party services
- Test the stability and functionality of the application
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
- Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes
Requirements
- 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
- Experience writing Apex classes and triggers
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API
- Experience using GitHub or other version control software
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
- 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau
- Experience working with Salesforce data and objects
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis
- Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud
