About the Role
Join our warehouse team and build a career with a leading foodservice distributor. We help you make it with opportunities for growth and a strong focus on safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders.
- Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
- Carefully move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software and equipment.
- Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
- Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
- Clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language.
- Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday, with occasional weekends and holidays required.
- Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively.
- Ability to move 1,000+ cases of product during each shift.
Skills
- Operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.
- Selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- High endurance or highly physical activity experience preferred.
