About the Role
Gathers, creates, standardizes, reports, analyzes, and interprets workforce, financial, and/or operational data. Prepares insightful data-driven presentations for executive leaders to aid in decision-making and planning. Supports projects ranging from departmental process efficiencies to enterprise-wide initiatives, including metric identification, outcome management, and alignment with key company goals.
Responsibilities
- Compiles metrics using advanced tools from multiple systems across Human Resources, Finance, and Operations.
- Creates models to analyze and/or project data outcomes and evaluate alternate futures.
- Measures data outcomes using benchmarking, trend analysis, and/or operational insights.
- Models complex business problems and discovers insights using statistical, data mining, and visualization techniques.
- Communicates results clearly and concisely to provide insight to multiple audiences and offers strategic direction to management.
- Develops precise and easy-to-interpret visualizations using data and data analytics.
- Presents results and consults with HR, business leaders, and/or external key stakeholders to share insights and proposed actions.
- Standardizes and documents processes, and implements changes to improve processes, organization, and technology solutions.
- Provides design, testing, operational, and analytical support for the data warehouse and other HR systems.
- Continuously learns, adapts to, or implements new analytics tools or technologies.
- Participates in project management teams across the enterprise, providing metrics, analytics, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or an HR related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills required.
- SQL or other relational database experience.
- Experience with multiple systems and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize and present complex data in an organized, concise manner.
- Problem solving, collaboration, and partnership capabilities.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills.
