About the Role
Lead Product Manager to lead the Banners team, owning Braze's in-product messaging surfaces: Content Cards and Banners. This role focuses on driving adoption, enhancing creation intelligence with AI, making surfaces programmable, owning technical product work at scale, and setting measurement standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the roadmap for Content Cards and Banners, considering customer feedback, sales input, support data, usage analytics, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to execute the roadmap within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Oversee commercial outcomes for the product area, including adoption, consumption, and expansion, with a strong understanding of unit economics for informed investment decisions.
- Manage internal and external customer expectations, including those of enterprise accounts, during renewal and expansion discussions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the technology, business, customers, and market.
- Build best-in-class infrastructure for products, prioritizing reliability, performance, and observability as core product requirements.
- Partner across divisions to develop reusable capabilities rather than channel-specific implementations, focusing on shared editors, design patterns, and APIs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of a product line at scale.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and persuasion skills to influence engineering, design, SDK teams, and go-to-market functions without direct authority.
- Proactive, positive attitude with a drive for project completion and continuous improvement of processes and products.
- Technical aptitude to reason about client-side rendering, SDK integration, API design, and caching for effective trade-offs with engineers.
- Experience building rich user experiences and collaborating closely with designers, recognizing the importance of the authoring experience.
- Data-driven approach, prioritizing adoption funnel and usage data over anecdotes, with a rigorous focus on baselines.
- Customer-focused and commercially fluent, understanding how the product area drives consumption and expansion, and capable of credible conversations with enterprise customers.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
