About the Role
This role supports the successful execution of assigned construction projects, ensuring planning and coordination to meet project objectives and profitability targets.
Responsibilities
- Support jobs and project management teams in all project phases, including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.
- Identify and address critical issues related to constructability, costs, and logistics.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial processes, controls, and reports, including budgets, costs to complete, billings, collections, subcontractor payments, change orders, and contracts.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet profit goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and industry professionals.
- Promote positive subcontractor relations through professional and fair dealings.
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices, or negotiate changes.
- Oversee and prepare change orders and RFIs.
- Maintain open communication with clients regarding project progress and budget.
- Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project issues.
- Ensure punch list completion.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Construction Project Management experience, with a strong preference for retail construction.
- Experience on projects with high intensity and short-term duration (12-20 weeks).
- Occasional travel as required.
- OSHA-30 preferred.
- College degree in Construction or Engineering preferred.
- Buyout proficiency and experience with leveling trades.
- Experience creating and processing RFIs using Procore or similar technology.
- Proficiency in scheduling.
- Experience with document management.
- Financial accountability.
- Presentation skills and ability to lead meetings.
