About the Role
KRUSH Tech is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage a team of production associates through all phases of manufacturing, from new product introduction to scaled production. This dynamic role requires frontline technical and people management skills, offering an opportunity to shape a manufacturing organization from its inception.
Responsibilities
- Manage production staff in the build and delivery of KRUSH products through inspection, test, and acceptance.
- Set priorities and direct daily operations, including timely issuing and completion of work orders.
- Clear blockers daily to ensure the team can hit their goals.
- Ensure all operators follow safety procedures and standard work tasks.
- Proactively identify and drive safety improvement opportunities.
- Prioritize work activities for operators to achieve on-time delivery goals.
- Be an active participant in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Complete transactions in production systems (ERP/MES) on a daily basis.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in each work area.
- Provide a weekly report-out of production progress, blockers, risks, and needs.
- Lead daily communication with cross-functional partners (engineering, quality, materials/planning, and maintenance).
- Support issue resolution, including root cause investigation and corrective action (CAPA) tracking.
- Execute and maintain standardized manufacturing instructions and control plans.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process; no defects leave a station or team area.
- Generate daily pass-downs and quality reports for engineering and operations.
- Manage, coach, mentor, and support production associates on shift.
- Build a positive, collaborative team culture that promotes product knowledge, skills development, and cross-training.
- Be willing and able to work hands-on alongside your team, including new-operator training and equipment troubleshooting, as needed.
- Show up every day with urgency and ownership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing or supervising a team in a high-volume production/manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and core manufacturing fundamentals.
- Full understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production), Lean manufacturing principles, and change management (ECOs).
- Ability to interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, build specs, equipment specs).
- Hands-on and comfortable being on the production floor; proven skills in process and equipment troubleshooting; adapts easily to a constantly changing production environment.
- Passion for employee development — genuinely enjoys training and developing both new hires and veteran staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities (ITAR).
