About the Role

Marks is building a practice that owns the commerce end of a system connecting strategy, creative, and production to commercial outcomes. This role leads the practice, turning brand and content into performant, spec-compliant, measurable commerce assets at scale. The ideal candidate is a builder with vision and operational drive, capable of consulting with client commerce organizations as a peer.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, mentor, and scale the team; define the operating model and specialist craft.
  • Convert capability into new business and expanded scope with existing clients; evolve the business globally.
  • Own the commerce point of view for clients, including digital shelf, retail media, content supply chain, and strategy to sell-through.
  • Engage with client Commerce and eCommerce leaders as a subject-matter peer, converting ambiguity into fundable pilots.
  • Lead end-to-end production of PDP and A+ content, variant generation, retailer feed syndication, metadata discipline, and channel adaptation.
  • Manage practice quality, throughput, and margin.
  • Connect brief, creative, shelf, and outcome to demonstrate the impact of the practice's work.
  • Establish and run measurement and attribution as a differentiating capability.
  • Build, partner, and buy AI tools for content production and integrate with third-party tools.

Requirements

  • Strong sense of teamwork and matrix management.
  • Demonstrated operating experience running eCommerce/digital shelf content for large CPG or retail brands.
  • Fluency in commerce measurement, including retail media data, retailer clean rooms, performance analytics, and connecting content to sell-through.
  • Hands-on credibility with DAM, PIM, syndication, and variant/version management.
  • Evaluative fluency with AI-enabled content production and its quality/compliance limits.
  • Track record advising CPG commerce clients as a subject-matter peer.
  • Experience running a delivery team for throughput, quality, and margin.

Salary/Compensations

  • $200,000 - $240,000 USD annually
