About the Role
The Community Programs Volunteer is responsible for providing educational, recreational, and/or other services to youth and families at a DYCD funded program. This role also supports Co-Locators enhancing services at a HSVS DYCD Marlboro Cornerstone Program, located at a New York City Housing Authority Community Center. The Co-Locator role involves delivering a component of the Marlboro Cornerstone program under the supervision of the Cornerstone Contractor, in exchange for free space and the opportunity to serve participants and community members.
Responsibilities
- Providing educational, recreational, and/or services to youth and families at a DYCD funded program.
- Enhancing available services at a HSVS DYCD Marlboro Cornerstone Program.
- Delivering a component of the Marlboro Cornerstone program as directed and supervised by the Cornerstone Contractor.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours per week is required.
