About the Role
Join one of our squads to support Lightspeed’s Hospitality product group in expanding our reach into new markets and enhancing our advanced hospitality commerce platform. Specifically, you will join the team focused on the Lightspeed POS, optimizing business workflows for EMEA and NOAM markets and integrating with partners. Your work will change how restaurateurs worldwide experience hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with top talents to enhance our iOS app by developing innovative features and user-centric workflows.
- Design and implement elegant, efficient, and functional mobile applications tailored for iOS devices using SwiftUI.
- Prioritize daily activities between new feature development and maintenance of existing integrations, focusing on expanding market presence through novel iOS capabilities.
- Report to the squad’s Team Lead and engage with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams for seamless integration and performance within the POS application.
- Participate in daily Agile ceremonies, grooming sessions, and execute cutting-edge solutions to enhance user engagement.
- Champion high standards in code quality and system reliability, take ownership of the codebase, and contribute to infrastructure robustness.
- Elevate team performance by sharing insights, adopting best practices in iOS development, and continually seeking innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI
- Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, REST APIs
- Good knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience in writing automated unit and functional tests
- Good conceptual understanding of software design and code quality
- Experience with local network communication, external hardware accessories (e.g. payment terminals, printers) is a plus
- Experience with use of AI tools and implementation of agentic workflows
