About the Role
Join Kitware's Computer Vision team, a leader in developing cutting-edge algorithms and software for automated image and video analysis. This role contributes to government contracts focused on environmental monitoring, national security, ethical AI, open science, scientific computing, and medical computing, offering a chance to work on impactful problems.
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and techniques for visualizing computer vision results.
- Improve quality control by developing software testing infrastructure and writing test cases.
- Run experiments of existing algorithms on large-scale datasets, collect, and organize results.
- Develop and operate tools to label objects, activities, and events in images and video for testing and training computer vision algorithms.
Requirements
- Currently working towards a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- U.S. citizenship required due to contractual obligations.
