About the Role
CAMH is seeking a Research Analyst to support a program of research focusing on the engagement of people with lived experience in research processes. This role involves supporting a psychometric study validating a tool designed to measure the impact of lived experience engagement in research. The position requires support for recruitment, qualitative stages, interpretation, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support participant recruitment for a psychometric study.
- Assist with Phase 2 qualitative research stages.
- Contribute to data interpretation and reporting.
- Review literature on lived experience engagement in research.
- Support the use of collected data.
- Assist with other studies, particularly qualitative studies and literature reviews.
- Conduct daily tasks with minimal supervision.
- Assist with administrative duties as necessary.
- Support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable CAMH policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Health or a related academic area.
- Minimum of 1-year of relevant research experience.
- Experience in human subjects research, including data collection and participant tracking.
- Experience with qualitative research and software such as thematic analysis and NVivo.
- Experience with submissions to Research Ethics Boards.
- Experience with careful organization of REB-approved documents and study materials.
- Experience with the conduct of research projects involving human participants.
- Experience with data entry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral/written) skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Detail-oriented with analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment.
- Ability to multitask and produce high-quality, accurate work while meeting program deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
