About the Role
The Product Manager supports the planning, delivery, and ongoing improvement of business products and technology-enabled capabilities. This role partners with stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver solutions that create business value, acting as a bridge between business, technology, and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate opportunities, define priorities, clarify product objectives, and track success measures.
- Understand operational challenges, gather requirements, support prioritization, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
- Communicate product updates, decisions, and progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate the delivery of product enhancements, technology implementations, and business initiatives.
- Apply project management practices to support delivery within agreed scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Escalate risks or issues as needed.
- Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.
- Monitor product performance, user adoption, and business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and user experiences.
- Monitor and report on project-related CapEx spending, budget performance, and funding forecasts.
- Identify potential funding gaps and support approval requests.
- Contribute to invoice reviews, spend validation, and budget planning discussions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Project Management, or related technology/business transformation roles.
- Demonstrated experience developing product roadmaps and delivering business-focused technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of product management practices, agile methodologies, business process improvement, and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party software solutions.
- Leading significant personal or volunteer projects.
- Taking responsibility for initiatives such as organizing events, coordinating community programs, or managing home renovation projects.
- Leadership and teamwork in community settings.
