About the Role
STV is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join the Transportation group in New York, New York. This role is integral to the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group, supporting structural bridge design and leading assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group.
- Support structural bridge design group on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate.
- Work with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
- Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.
- Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of bridge inspection experience
- NY and NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required with active FHWA NHI Training Certification
- Experience for various agencies such as DOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ
- Ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.
