About the Role
The Electric Boat Design community develops 3D models and documents for submarine maintenance and construction. This role supports the design community through administrative efforts in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, contributing to a legacy of protecting our nation.
Responsibilities
- Generate official correspondence.
- Maintain department files, both physical and digital.
- Reproduce and distribute documents.
- Develop presentations using various software.
- Maintain department procedures and organization charts.
- Maintain status reports.
- Fulfill administrative requests according to defined procedures.
- Coordinate hiring and onboarding efforts.
- Compile and redistribute data from various databases.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 4-8 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
- Ability to type 45 words per minute.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well with other organizations and all levels of management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Access).
