About the Role
As a Mid-Level Painter at Carvana, you will match and mix paint colors, and use water-based paint to paint vehicles within our paint booths. This role is crucial in ensuring our vehicles are in first-rate condition before reaching customers.
Responsibilities
- Match and mix paint color
- Use water-based paint to paint the vehicle inside paint booths
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Ability to work sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Willingness to use safety equipment including face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
