About the Role

The Office of the Assessor-Recorder is seeking a lead Salesforce Architect to act as a strategic advisor, bridging business needs with technical solutions. This role is responsible for designing, supporting, and managing the Assessor-Recorder’s secure, scalable, and high-performance Salesforce platform (“SMART”).

Responsibilities

Determine requirements for system or platform development or enhancement.
Design, plan, integrate, test, implement, document, and enhance system or platform components.
Analyze, detect, identify, and correct platform or system issues.
Provide 24-hour on-call support for incident response, troubleshooting, and recovery.
Act as a liaison between vendors, technical support, and departments to resolve problems.
Facilitate the demonstration and training of staff in new technology products.
Document procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
Plan, develop, and implement backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures.
Ensure management procedures do not negatively impact users or system performance.
Monitor daily systems performance and execute corrective measures.

Requirements

An associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent coursework.
Three (3) years of experience analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing, and/or maintaining system or platform components.

Skills

Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud certification.
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
Experience with Middleware / ESB / API Gateways (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee).
Agile or Scrum certification.
ITIL or service management knowledge.
Additional 7+ years of verifiable senior level experience in Salesforce implementation(s).
2+ years of verifiable supervisory experience.
Experience managing Salesforce Data to include knowledge of SOQL or SQL.
Minimum of 6 months of exposure to the Salesforce Gov Cloud, APEX, and data loading.
Knowledge of basic and advanced functions and interactions for core hardware and software components.
Ability to analyze and evaluate techniques to plan, design, integrate, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot systems or networks.
Ability to determine systems or platform requirements for core infrastructure, application, or data needs.
Ability to solve problems with minimal disruption or impact.
Ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in designing, planning, troubleshooting, and integration.
Ability to develop alternative solutions within established guidelines and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish good working relationships with other technology professionals, vendors, management, and departments.
Ability to read and understand professional journals, manuals, and literature.
Ability to prioritize competing requests for service.
