About the Role
Manage the construction and delivery of residential homes, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The goal is to complete homes within budget and on schedule while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction across multiple home sites, overseeing 15-30 homes under construction.
- Maintain job site and model home safety and cleanliness.
- Develop and communicate home construction schedules to subcontractors.
- Obtain all required governmental and local jurisdiction inspections.
- Provide training to Superintendents to foster career advancement.
- Develop accurate and timely settlement reporting.
- Review and approve site area figures.
- Ensure subcontractor work quality and performance align with Company policies.
- Establish and maintain construction site budgets, ensuring compliance.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with homeowners to review contracts, options, and schedules.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Customer Service to resolve issues.
- Ensure Superintendents attend weekly production meetings.
- Conduct 90-day and annual reviews of Superintendents with the Production Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain organization.
- Capacity to multitask and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player capable of working with diverse groups.
- Commitment to customer service.
- Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints, specifications, and development plans.
- Ability to coordinate performance action plans.
- Valid driver's license.
- Prior experience in supervising or assisting new home construction projects is preferred.
