About the Role
Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the Certified Nursing Assistant delivers compassionate, high-quality care to residents within our skilled nursing neighborhood. Provides direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities while prioritizing resident safety, comfort, and dignity. Monitors residents’ physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes to licensed nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility, etc.)
- Prioritizes resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Monitors residents’ physical and emotional well-being
- Promptly reports any changes to the licensed nursing staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current State certification for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Current CPR certification (or obtain within three months of employment)
