About the Role
Serve as a key partner and advisor on Notion’s Business Operations team, working primarily with Engineering, Product, & Design teams. This cross-functional role partners with senior leaders on high-impact strategic projects and analysis, identifying, structuring, and acting on challenging strategic and operational questions.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders to define and implement strategy across all Notion products, driving increased value to users and the business.
- Structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for leadership, defining clear hypotheses and building detailed business cases and quantitative models.
- Define and manage key drivers of business performance with cross-functional leaders, identifying areas of opportunity.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of competitive positioning by assessing and developing insights about peer businesses.
- Uncover insights about Notion customers and the broader market landscape to inform recommendations.
- Create scalable solutions that combine a broad vision with an understanding of practical constraints.
Requirements
- 5+ years of strategy experience, including 2+ years in management consulting or a related field.
- Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills with attention to detail.
- Outstanding executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently with senior stakeholders and manage relationships, deliverables, and timelines with minimal supervision.
- Genuine enthusiasm for and proficiency with AI tools.
- Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools such as Notion AI, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar.
- Data self-sufficiency, including working knowledge of SQL and the ability to access, assess, and synthesize relevant data.
- Comfort working in a high-growth, constantly changing environment with passion and enthusiasm.
- Prior experience in strategy and operations in B2B SaaS businesses (Nice to Have).
- Experience with pricing & packaging, especially for AI products (Nice to Have).
