About the Role
This role involves testing units per procedures using automated and non-automated equipment, identifying electronic components, and documenting results in the MES System. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and test units per procedures using automated equipment
- Identify proper equipment to be used
- Properly fill out production documentation
- Notify Electronic Technician of non-conforming units or test fixtures
- Identify electronic components (polarity, incorrect part, etc.)
- Rotate to different workstations and different cells as needed
- Documents pass/fail results and troubleshoot information in the MES System (Vision)
- Compile and validate test results and test logs for customer and regulatory requirements
- Complete hour-by-hour forms or other documentation for cycle time/performance analysis
- Set-up and test units per procedures using correct equipment
- Use of non-automated equipment when necessary (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.)
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand test procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Works well in team environment
- Experience testing PCBs
