About the Role
Join AWIN, a premier network of 23 luxury automobile dealerships and 3 state-of-the-art collision centers in the Greater Toronto Area. We are seeking an Apprentice Auto Body Technician to contribute to our continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles under supervision.
- Execute tasks from repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Consult with Shop Foreman and/or Service Consultants for additional work requirements.
- Utilize appropriate tools and test equipment, reporting any defective equipment.
- Obtain and return parts from the Parts Department as needed.
- Continuously develop repair and service skills.
- Stay informed on Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.
- Maintain a clean and tidy shop environment.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management, such as shuttle driving, valet parking, or assisting Sales Lot Attendants.
Requirements
- Registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
- Possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence.
- Maintain a clear Driver’s Abstract.
- Hold an Ontario College of Trades membership.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in the use of power, machine, and hand tools.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team, managing time and workflow effectively.
