About the Role
Quality Veterinary Care, a small-animal practice in Elmont, New York, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The practice offers a well-equipped facility, flexible scheduling, no on-call duties, and a loyal client base.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and educate them on preventative care.
- Work alongside a skilled support team dedicated to patient comfort and client satisfaction.
- Help shape the practice’s future through collaboration and fresh ideas.
- Develop a relationship with clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible.
- Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort.
- Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment.
- Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
- Help to continue developing the support team.
- Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.
Requirements
- Proficient in general medicine and surgery
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
