About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Prepress Manager to lead our prepress operations and ensure the flawless preparation of print materials. In this vital role, you will oversee the entire prepress workflow, from color management and layout design to quality control, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise will drive seamless collaboration between graphic design, manufacturing, and printing teams, enabling us to deliver exceptional print advertising and packaging solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality and consistency of our printed products while fostering innovation in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct, schedule, and prioritize print projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Review digital files for errors, including font, image resolution, and color accuracy.
- Manage the plate-making process, color management, and prepress equipment.
- Hire, train, and supervise prepress technicians and operators.
- Communicate with sales, customer service, and production teams to resolve artwork issues and clarify specifications.
Requirements
- Must be able to work with customers, understand instructions, enter orders and traffic multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to recognize and balance client needs for quality, schedule/on time delivery and budget.
