About the Role
The Assistant Mechanic position involves assisting the equipment manager in all facets of equipment maintenance and repair, with primary duties including preventative equipment maintenance and cutting unit maintenance. This position is available immediately.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf carts and similar equipment.
- Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment such as leaf blowers, string trimmers, and other related tools.
- Assist with mower repair and maintenance as needed.
- Perform adjustments and repairs on cutting units and other turf-related machinery.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (professional or personal experience).
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to prioritize and manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Dependability and strong communication skills.
