About the Role
This role requires knowledge of the building industry and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for negotiating prices, placing orders, communicating with customers and staff, processing payments, generating quotes, and supporting outside sales.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate prices and place orders with outside vendors.
- Communicate with customers and appropriate staff regarding changes to delivery schedules.
- Work with walk-in customers and pull small orders.
- Process order payments when required.
- Generate price quotes for customers.
- Maintain showroom and personal workstation area in a neat and organized manner.
- Quickly solve customer complaints and problems.
- Support outside sales.
- Interact with vendors and participate in product training.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
