About the Role

This role will maintain and manage Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations environments and integrated systems, aligning with Formula 1's business objectives. The position is within the IT department and reports to the IT Systems Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage D365 Finance & Operations environments and integrated System Applications.
  • Optimize the D365 system through F1 customisations and configurations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in D365 Finance & Operations, supporting the team in operational management.
  • Develop, build, and manage system integrations.
  • Create and maintain IT system documentation and assist in departmental documentation processes.
  • Drive IT innovation by reviewing current technology and identifying improvements.
  • Manage projects through their lifecycle, ensuring deadlines and stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement new solutions and provide training to other technology teams with full documentation.
  • Make approved changes and additions to IT Systems infrastructure within Change Management processes, adhering to SOX, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS.
  • Respond flexibly to business requirements and ad hoc requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk issues through incident management processes.
  • Implement security measures, perform security tests, and ensure system integrity, including user roles and permissions.
  • Produce root cause analysis reports for failures and issues, working with problem management.
  • Provide user support and act as an escalation point for other technology teams.
  • Be available to work on IT systems outside of usual business hours, both planned and unplanned.
  • Travel to Formula 1 business sites and partners' premises as required.
  • Stay updated on IT industry developments and proactively consider their incorporation into IT Systems Applications.

Requirements

  • Proficient communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Highly motivated and well-structured in managing tasks.
  • Positive, adaptable, and flexible when faced with challenges.
  • Proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Essential knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience supporting Logic Apps, Power Apps, and Power Automate designing, coding, and implementing.
  • Knowledge and experience with developing and managing integration principles to Microsoft D365.
  • Scripting and automation skills using C# and Python.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of business finance processes.
  • Experience working with third parties and managing development items.
  • Good customer service, communication, and team working skills.
  • Current UK driving license.
