About the Role

The Clinical Supervisor will work directly with youth residing in the community residence and their families, collaborating with community health providers to deliver compassionate, high-quality, evidence-based services. This role supports the Jewish Board's mission to instill hope, strengthen resiliency, and improve overall functioning through a culturally competent, person-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the director to interview and assess youth and their families during the matching process for community residence placement.
  • Partner with case managers, medical staff, and out-patient providers to complete necessary assessments and documentation for the intake process.
  • Supervise case managers at all 4 Community Residences.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly documentation in the appropriate system.
  • Complete trauma-informed clinical profiles of clients upon intake.
  • Assist in orienting families and supportive resources to program services, ensuring collaboration with families and community resources.
  • Develop culturally affirming, trauma-informed, individualized service plans in collaboration with youth, families, schools, mental health providers, and other community providers.
  • Work collaboratively with community partners to ensure excellent client care.
  • Complete psychosocial assessments to identify client strengths, behavioral health needs, and recommend services and interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Assess program trends with Directors and CPI, providing needed clinical interventions.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary therapeutic team.
  • Liaise with families, schools, healthcare providers, hospitals, criminal justice, and other community agencies to coordinate care.
  • Provide services in the community residence, family/resource home, community, and via telehealth.
  • Participate in clinical treatment team meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision.
  • Maintain all documentation according to established standards and timeframes.
  • Maintain professional behaviors and ethical standards.
  • Travel and navigate the community to provide services where youth and family will benefit most.
  • Attend, participate, and complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification and recertifications.
  • Attend and participate in ongoing training and consultation of the evidenced-based model utilized within the program.
  • Provide supervision of youth and oversight of the program when assigned by director-level staff.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • At least one year of experience working with children.
  • Prior experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel and navigate the community independently using public transportation and/or a vehicle.
