About the Role
You will own the planning, commitment, and delivery of product and engineering work, transforming requests from across the business into an organized roadmap. This is an execution-focused role with opportunities for growth into strategy and roadmap ownership.
Responsibilities
- Run product intake, capturing requests and scoping work for the roadmap.
- Decompose scoped projects into epics and child tickets in Jira with owners, estimates, and dates.
- Design and run the sprint cadence for the engineering team.
- Track delivery against committed baselines, surface slips, unblock the team, and escalate when needed.
- Manage the change-request process to ensure visible costs for scope changes.
- Own and maintain the planning system (Jira, dashboards) as the single source of truth.
- Report on key metrics like on-time delivery, sprint predictability, and capacity utilization.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years in product management, technical program management, project management, or a comparable execution-heavy role.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Ability to learn systems quickly, including Jira, data pipelines, and internal tooling.
- Strong sequencing instinct and ability to identify dependencies and shortest paths.
- Comfortable holding the line with senior stakeholders and communicating trade-offs.
- Clear and concise writing skills for tickets, requirements, and status updates.
- Technical fluency to understand architecture and data models without an engineering background.
- Working knowledge of Jira or a comparable tool.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and light scripting with AI tools (bonus).
