About the Role

Support sustainable farming, strong communities, and the mission to deliver fresh, local dairy to families every day by managing facility parts and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain part stock levels with management input.
  • Set CMMS min/max order quantities to maintain desired inventory levels.
  • Order parts and equipment.
  • Physically receive parts and enter required information into CMMS.
  • Enter OEM spare parts into the CMMS master parts file.
  • Assist mechanics in locating and signing out parts.
  • Create and modify tasks in the CMMS system.
  • Label, tag, and put away all parts, reorganizing as needed.
  • Assist in the generation of work orders.
  • Generate work orders to issue parts/materials signed out.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts of parts in the warehouse.
  • Assist in serializing repairable equipment and identifying sub-assets in CMMS.
  • Assist with the entry of current and child assets in CMMS.
  • Prepare parts for shipment and coordinate vendor pickups.
  • Log all parts received in the parts room into Micromain daily.
  • Create and share weekly goals for parts storage/Micromain improvement projects.
  • Create a photographic log of custom parts to link to assets.
  • Assist in the generation of Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
  • Maintain the work order system.
  • Print work orders weekly.
  • Run reports on completed work orders.
  • Organize and maintain equipment manuals for all current equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Prior knowledge of Computerized Maintenance and/or Parts Inventory programs desired but not required.
  • Ability to think analytically.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Must show enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work, and a commitment to the organization and its mission.
  • Good human relations skills; ability to work well with others and be a team member.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and maintenance work orders.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, administrative personnel, customers, employees, and the general public.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in all units of measure.
  • Accounting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to apply common sense and technical understanding to carry out detailed and involved written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to self-start projects and continuously work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms above shoulder level, talk and hear.
  • Must be able to lift objects from the floor to overhead up to and including 25 pounds, and infrequently maneuver objects up to 55 pounds.
  • Working safely according to Company Safety Policy and the OSHA General Duty Clause.
  • Following all Company Policies according to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
  • Complying with all Federal, State and County regulations.
