About the Role
Schumacher & Co. is seeking an individual to support event production, manage RSVPs, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and assist with day-to-day event logistics. This role involves maintaining vendor relationships, managing budgets, and ensuring brand alignment for all events.
Responsibilities
- Produce all invites for events and oversee send-out and RSVP management.
- Coordinate in-house Press Previews, including product, guest lists, and event logistics.
- Coordinate pre and post-event logistics and serve as a liaison between the Events team and internal regional teams.
- Attend and assist with all Events meetings, including note-taking and meeting prep.
- Maintain relationships with local vendors, oversee payments, and manage budgets.
- Manage internal Events Requests, providing suggestions on timing, location, and aesthetic.
- Coordinate and execute design elements for events, such as tablecloths, napkins, and place cards.
- Monitor local events and venues to avoid overlap with competitors.
- Assist the Events Director with daily tasks, organizational needs, and administrative work.
- Travel to assist with day-of event set-up and breakdown for larger out-of-town events.
- Coordinate Certificates of Insurance, On-site Permits, Invoices, and Down Payments for vendors and venues.
- Assist in the yearly coordination and organization of current and following year event requests.
- Export bi-weekly calendars and communicate Events updates/changes to the Creative Director.
- Assist the Events Director in keeping all teams updated on changes.
Requirements
- Ability to work with Art Director and Creative Director.
- Ability to work with the PR Assistant.
- Ability to work with Event Director.
- Ability to work with the Marketing Manager.
- Ability to maintain relationships with local vendors.
- Ability to oversee all payments.
- Ability to properly code all spend and accurately stay on budget.
- Ability to advise with appropriate timing, location and aesthetic suggestions and alignment with our brand.
- Ability to maintain relationships with all external and internal vendors and teams.
- Ability to keep a pulse on all local events and venues.
- Ability to assist in day-to-day tasks, organizational asks, or administrative work.
- Ability to travel and assist with day-of event set-up and breakdown for necessary larger out-of-town events.
- Ability to coordinate and help manage all Certificates of Insurance, On-site Permits, Invoices, and Down Payments for all Vendors and Venues.
- Ability to assist in yearly coordination and overall organization of current and following year event requests.
- Ability to export bi-weekly calendars and assist in communicating Events updates/changes to Creative Director.
